Winter Wonderland

Denver, New York, Orlando

In Denver, you can enjoy a cozy winter vacation, while in New York, you can ring in the New Year amid the energy of the Big Apple. Or you can spend time with your family at one of the most magical places of all, Walt Disney World Resort® in Orlando.

Each of these three cities across the United States offers an incomparable way to spend the holidays with your loved ones. Choose your preferred destination, and Copa Airlines will get you there safely and conveniently, just as you would expect from a World-Class airline.

A white Christmas in Denver

During the winter, the Rocky Mountains near Denver are blanketed with snow, making this the perfect place to experience the enchantment of a white Christmas. You can’t go wrong by strolling through the city to the sound of Christmas carols—or by taking in a performance of A Christmas Carol (a beloved classic adapted from the Charles Dickens novel by the same name) at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

If you prefer a lower-key celebration, you can take a drive to the small towns outside of Denver, such as Golden and Evergreen. Several ski resorts, such as Echo Mountain, are less than an hour away, and all of them have places to stay nearby.

New Year’s Eve in New York City

New York is the place to spend a picture-perfect New Year’s Eve. The holiday season gets underway here in late November, with the premiere of the New York City Ballet’s Nutcracker. Then on November 28 is the lighting of the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, complete with a dazzling performance by the high-kicking Rockettes. The Rockefeller Center is also where you’ll find one of the city’s most popular ice-skating rinks.

The crowning moment comes on December 31, when the eyes of the entire world turn to the Big Apple. More than a million people gather to count down the minutes till midnight, when the ball drops in Times Square and everyone rings in the new year with a kiss.

A magical December in Orlando

Walt Disney World Resort® is the place where magic always reigns. And during the holidays, the resort’s four theme parks brim with the spirit of the season, inviting everyone to experience a fantastic, family-friendly celebration in sunny Orlando.

You’ll enjoy lavish decorations, fireworks displays, stage shows, parades, projections, special “snow,” festive meals, and holiday treats. Plus, you’ll see everyone’s favorite characters all dressed up in their holiday best, looking forward to the arrival of Santa Claus.

The festivities begin in early November and continue through early January; dates and events vary by park. For more information, please visit the following link
