In Colombia, the most beloved foods and the ways they’re made vary from one region to another. In the Antioquia region nestled among the Andes mountains, for example, one of the most popular dishes is known as bandeja paisa. This generously-portioned platter of food can be found in cities like Medellin and Pereira. In the cities of Barranquilla and Cartagena, on the other hand, the coastal flavors of the Caribbean are more popular.
