The ‘Black Weekend’, Panama’s new tradition, was inspired by the famous Black Friday sales events in the United States, where businesses offer unprecedented bargains. A number of years ago, businesses in Panama began celebrating it as well. Now, the occasion has moved to a new date and extends over multiple days, complete with special events and appearances.
