- Panamanian cultures: Celebrate for 11 days in March. The St. Joseph of David International Fair is an excellent opportunity to acquire local products such as food, art, and to enjoy folklore and tradition. Another option is to visit the José de Obadia Museum of History and Culture with its archaeological exhibitions and religious art that are worth seeing.
- Natural Attractions: There are beaches close to the city such as Playa la Barqueta, a white sand beach where you can get some sun, or Puerto Pedregal, where you can take a boat to get to Chiriquí National Park. For those who like mountains, you can climb the Barú Volcano from Boquete.
- In the city: If you want your nature fix without leaving David, visit Cervantes Park which is surrounded by shops and churches.
